This year our Marketing Coordinator Erin packed her bags and headed down to London to attend Digital Construction Week. DCW is the only event in the UK that is entirely dedicated to the innovation and technology within the built environment. At DCW you can learn so much from BIM workshops to entering a virtual world and learn more about AR and VR. From hands-on demonstrations, seminars, workshops and networking events it is the place to let your brain go wild for two days. This year Erin found herself constantly floating between three seminar destinations; From Smart Cities, Visualisation Theatre and the Geo Spatial Theatre. Here she learnt about the virtual design and construction of the Kuwait International Airport, VR environments, maximising 4D modelling and so much more.  Apart from the seminars there are lots of exhibitions stands where you can really delve yourself into playing with VR and experience a virtual world as well as learning about lots of new types of technology that could benefit your company. There is an infinite amount of information you can learn from this incredible event and we whole heartily recommend attending we already cannot wait for next year.
