London Real Estate Forum 2016 Round-up

The London Real Estate Forum in a premier annual event for London’s development sector. Hosted at Berkeley Square, in the heart of Mayfair, the event delivers two days of debate, deals and networking in a great location.

This year, our MD Andy Roberts was one of the event’s many attendees, experiencing an unrivalled insight into development opportunities across the whole of London. With over 2,000 investors, occupiers, policy makers and senior consultants representing the most senior tiers from across the development industry.

The event showcased an array of large scale development proposals across the capital such as Canary Wharf, Elephant & Castle and Canada Water, focusing on area regeneration and community building rather than individual developments.  This was particularly fascinating, as it presented an insight into most of the major regeneration schemes planned across Central London over the next 5-10 years. There are certainly some exciting times ahead in terms of building developments within the capital.

The event also explained the more peripheral impact that the planned developments would have on London, such as Crossrail and Crossrail 2, as well as the capital growth, community amenities and job prospects.

It was fantastic to be part of this year’s London Real Estate Forum, which gave us a great understanding of how London is due to develop in the coming years as well as the opportunity to develop our presence, as a company, in the capital, meeting a multitude of like-minded people throughout the two day event.
