Administrator

We are looking for a candidate (ideally with some admin / office experience) to join our team as an Administrator.

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate basic administration skills including a working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.  For a candidate to be considered they will also need to demonstrate knowledge / experience of the following:

  • MS Office & Cloud Based Software.
  • Ability to compile data from various sources and compile into reports.
  • Time management skills with an emphasis on meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail.

Job Role

The role would include (but not limited to) the following tasks:

  • Assist in typing / compiling tenders in the appropriate format & following the process through to commission.
  • Chase tenders and maintain accurate records of tender stages.
  • Raise jobs according to the system in place and ensure that these are processed and given over to the operational side of the business.
  • Arrange on site access for jobs as required by the Operations Director and ensure all the relevant information is communicated to the Operations Director to ensure that surveyors have no issues when on site.
  • Compile all items for posting including packaging as well as opening and distributing incoming post.
  • General phone answering, screening and routing of calls.
  • Photocopying documents, using filing & archiving systems and manipulating computer files.
  • Ordering supplies and stationary.

Utility Surveyor

We are expanding and are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2-3 years experience to join our team as a Utility Surveyor.

The right candidate should be able to demonstrate utility tracing & mapping skills and be able to undertake all types of utility surveys.  You must be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the latest PAS128 specification, including the M1-M4 methodologies, and also be able to post-process GPR data.

A proven track record in this field will need to be demonstrated in the following:

  • All elements associated with utility surveys and sub-surface mapping.
  • Experience of both EML & GPR techniques.
  • Robotic total station & GPS knowledge.
  • Time management skills with an emphasis on delivery.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Flexible approach to working hours.

Note: Potential candidates should note that whilst a well-rounded surveying knowledge is required, the ideal candidate should be well versed in utility tracing and mapping.  We are seeking a candidate who is, first and foremost, a utility surveyor with topographical experience, not a topographical surveyor with utilities experience.

CAD Technician

We are seeking a candidate to join our team who can demonstrate key skills as an experienced CAD Technician working with both 3D point clouds and 2D data. It's important to note that this is not a design position - we are specifically looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2-3 years experience as a CAD Technician working within the geospatial sector, capable of processing survey data and delivering projects to a high standard.  The candidate will need to demonstrate an understanding of CAD, and its application within a reality capture and geospatial survey company, and be able to demonstrate the following:-

  • Experience of working with 3D point clouds & 2D data.
  • A thorough understanding of AutoCAD and other Autodesk products.
  • Working knowledge of blocks, plotting, layering, external references, coordinate grids & datums.
  • Time management skills with an emphasis on delivery.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Flexible approach to working hours.
