Formby Surveys are we’re looking for a Geomatics Surveyor (based in Liverpool) to join our team.

We are seeking a candidate to join our team who can demonstrate key skills as a Geomatics Surveyor capable of undertaking 3D laser scanning, measured building surveys & topographical surveys.

What you’ll be doing:

Undertaking survey projects and the organisation of the data associated with these tasks.  A Geomatics Surveyor at FSL has a position of responsibility and as such should conduct themselves in accordance with this position and understand the separation between staff, management and directors.

🔹 In a technical capacity, undertake complex geomatics tasks across a variety of different measured survey requirements.

🔹 Maintain a day to day diary of activities in a supplied software application.

🔹 Record and relate any relevant issues to the relevant Director during the monthly Survey Meetings.

🔹 Attend regular Operational Meetings to provide feedback and suggestions for the operational side of the business.

🔹 Collaborate with all our internal survey departments.

Required skillsets:

✅   A proven track record in the Geomatics industry, in particular in the fields of topographical mapping and measured building surveys and a broad technical knowledge of activities undertaken in the measurement and property development professions.

✅  A detailed knowledge of those IT systems deployed, including hardware and software.

✅  The ability to demonstrate and encourage team working and building relationships both internally amongst staff and externally with clients.

✅  A commitment to, and an ability to, create a team based working culture, spanning the “pool” of resources in a number of personalities and skills.

✅  Time management skills with an emphasis on delivery.

✅  Excellent attention to detail.

✅  Flexible approach to working hours.

Formby Surveys are looking for a Utility Surveyor (based in Liverpool) to join our team.

We are hiring and are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2-3 years experience to join our team as a Utility Surveyor.  A Utility Surveyor at FSL has a position of responsibility and as such should conduct themselves in accordance with this position and understand the separation between staff, management and directors.

The candidate should be able to demonstrate adequate utility surveying skills covering EML and GPR knowledge together with the ability to post-process GPR & utility data. The successful candidate should also possess the ability to work individually, as well as part of a team, with an emphasis on quality and attention to detail.

A proven track record in this field will need to be demonstrated in the following:

✅  EML & GPR experience (CCTV experience also a benefit).

✅  Knowledge of PAS128 standard.

✅  Robotic total station & GPS knowledge a benefit.

✅  Time management skills with an emphasis on delivery.

✅  Excellent attention to detail.

Formby Surveys are looking for a Revit Technician (based in Liverpool) to join our team.

We are seeking a candidate who can demonstrate key skills in the specific area of Revit modelling from existing 3D point clouds and 2D data. It's important to note that this is not a design position - we are specifically looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 years "Scan to BIM" experience and knowledge. The candidate should be able to demonstrate an understanding of a "Scan to BIM" workflow and an understanding of 3D laser scanning would be an advantage.

What you’ll be doing:

 Working with point cloud data to produce accurate 3D models.

 Developing in-house workflows & families.

 Collaborating with all our internal survey departments.

Required skillsets:

Experience of working with 3D point clouds.

An understanding of the complexities of creating as-built Revit models.

Knowledge and understanding of Revit templates, families and custom modelling.

Time management skills with an emphasis on delivery.

Excellent attention to detail.

Flexible approach to working hours.
